NOC Manager

Role: NOC Manager

Location: San Diego, CA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule following an initial onsite onboarding period. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite Monday-Friday during their first 90 days, with a hybrid schedule available thereafter.

Compensation: $135,000-$175,600 base salary

Ledgent Technology has partnered with a local employer on their search for a NOC Manager. This is a leadership opportunity for an operations-focused technology professional who can build high-performing teams, improve operational processes, and drive modernization efforts across a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of operations professionals


• Oversee monitoring, incident management, escalation, and service delivery activities


• Drive improvements in operational efficiency, visibility, and performance


• Implement best practices around monitoring, alerting, and service operations


• Develop metrics, reporting, and operational dashboards


• Partner with infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders


• Support capacity planning, operational readiness, and risk mitigation efforts


• Establish procedures, standards, and documentation for operational excellence


• Manage vendor relationships and service delivery expectations


• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT operations, infrastructure, or network operations experience


• 3+ years of people leadership experience


• Experience leading technical teams in complex enterprise environments


• Strong incident management and operational leadership skills


• Experience developing operational processes, procedures, and standards


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL certification


• Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms


• Infrastructure operations leadership experience


• Service delivery and operational transformation experience
