Job Title: Senior Associate, Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) Job Code: 44711 Job Location: Greenville, TX Schedule: 9/80 - Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off Job Description: L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our Sensor Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate is a go-getter with comprehensive knowledge of information security principles and practices, bringing deep expertise in vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, secure system design and Authorization to Operate (ATO) documentation.

Essential Functions

• Conduct vulnerability scans on networks, systems, and applications to identify security weaknesses, misconfigurations, and potential threats.
• Support the implementation, testing, and basic operation of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection platforms, and software deployment utilities.
• Assist with security assessments by reviewing systems and configurations for compliance with established security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Participate in evaluating security products and technologies, and provide input on tools or services that improve network and system security.
• Work with internal teams and stakeholders to communicate findings, document risks, and provide recommendations related to information assurance controls and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Active US Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 - 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Active Security+ certification or comparable Department of Defense 8140 certification. Preferred Additional Skills
• Experience assessing security and privacy controls in embedded systems using NIST 800-53.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and security infrastructure (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, IPSec, VPNs).
