<>Position Overview

We are looking for a strong Sr. Software Engineer to join a growing Enterprise AI organization focused on building and scaling applied AI solutions across the business.

This team is developing production AI and agentic solutions supporting advisor and customer experiences. The ideal candidate does not need to be a career AI engineer. We are looking for someone with a strong software engineering foundation who is genuinely interested in AI and wants to continue building their career in this space.

Ideally, this person has already worked on at least one AI or Generative AI use case, whether professionally or through meaningful hands-on project work, and understands how AI capabilities can be incorporated into real applications.

AWS is the team's primary cloud platform, so AWS experience is highly valuable, but it is not a hard requirement.

<>Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support production software solutions that incorporate AI capabilities.
• Develop backend services, APIs, workflows, and integrations supporting AI and agentic systems.
• Partner with senior AI engineers, architects, product teams, and other engineers to deliver new AI use cases.
• Take established AI patterns and help turn them into reliable, scalable production applications.
• Contribute to application design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
• Help integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications, services, and data.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Work within an evolving AI environment where engineering standards and patterns continue to mature.
• Continue developing expertise in AI engineering while contributing strong traditional software engineering fundamentals.

<>Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience building production applications, backend services, APIs, or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and modern development practices.
• Experience working with cloud-based applications and services.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, Generative AI, or emerging AI technologies.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to real business problems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in an evolving environment with some ambiguity.

<>Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering at least one AI, Generative AI, LLM, or agentic AI use case.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into an application or workflow.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native AWS services.
• Exposure to foundation models, prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, agents, or AI orchestration patterns.
• Personal projects or experimentation demonstrating genuine interest in AI engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure automation, and observability.
• Experience working within a large enterprise or regulated environment.
