Role Summary: We’re hiring Senior Python/GenAI engineers who love building real systems - not architects who’ve stepped away from coding. You’ll work at the core of our GenAI platform, creating LLMpowered agents, NLtoJSON pipelines, semantic search integrations, and async microservices that power complex multistep reasoning flows. If you enjoy solving hard naturallanguage problems, enforcing structured outputs, and shipping productiongrade Python daily, this role is built for you.

What You’ll Build

• LLMpowered agents in Python: intent classification, domainspecialist agents, multistep agentic extraction flows

• Naturallanguage → structuredpayload pipelines: converting user utterances into precise JSON query objects (filters, exclusions, rankings, metrics)

• Semantic search + vector retrieval integrations: embeddings, fuzzy matching, confidence scoring, disambiguation flows

• FastAPI microservices and async orchestration across parallel LLM/API calls

• Prompt engineering, structured output enforcement (JSON schema, function calling, tool use), guardrails

• Evaluation harnesses: test set creation, extraction accuracy measurement, regression testing for prompt/model changes

• Metadata/catalog integrations, entitlementaware data access, reportingengine payload contracts

• Crossteam collaboration with clear documentation (Confluence, ADRs, sequence/flow diagrams)

MustHave Skills

• 6+ years professional Python — advanced level; clean, tested, productiongrade code (typing, pytest, packaging, code review discipline)

• 1.5+ years building GenAI/LLM applications in production (not POCs only): OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, etc.

• Agentic frameworks/patterns: LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or custom orchestration; tool/function calling; multistep agent flows

• Structured output extraction: JSON schema enforcement, Pydantic, retry/repair strategies

• RAG + vector search: embeddings, chunking, hybrid search, reranking (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch, warehousenative vector functions)

• FastAPI (or Flask/Django with strong API design), async Python, REST integration patterns

• Solid SQL skills; comfort with large analytical datasets

• Git, CI/CD, Docker; cloud experience (Azure preferred, AWS/Google Cloud Platform acceptable)

• Strong communication and ability to work directly with multiple engineering/product teams
