Full Stack C# Developer - Investment Technology

Build the systems that invest one of the world's largest pools of capital.

Our client, one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds, is investing heavily in its technology platform and is looking for a talented Full Stack C# Developer to help build it.

This is a rare chance to work at genuine global scale. You'll create the tools portfolio managers, traders and analysts use every day across investment decision making, portfolio management, trading and reporting. A well funded programme, a modern stack and a team with real influence over how the fund operates.

What you'll do

1. Design, build and maintain robust full stack applications using C# and .NET
2. Create responsive, intuitive web interfaces for front office and business users
3. Develop and integrate APIs, services and data feeds across multiple platforms
4. Work directly with portfolio managers, traders, analysts and operations teams
5. Shape the architecture and technical design of new systems
6. Optimise performance, scalability and reliability
7. Champion best practice through code reviews and high quality engineering
8. Drive CI/CD, cloud and DevOps initiatives

What you'll bring

1. Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core
2. Modern front end experience with React, Angular or Vue.js
3. Previous experience using WPF
4. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices and service oriented architecture
5. Strong SQL Server and relational database design skills
6. Experience working in Agile teams
7. Excellent problem solving and communication skills
8. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience

Great to have

1. Experience in asset management, hedge funds or wider financial services
2. Knowledge of portfolio management, trading, market data, risk or performance workflows
3. Experience with Azure or AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
