Databricks Lead

Job Title : Databricks Lead.

Job Location : Remote.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale legacy DWH to Databricks/cloud migrations
• Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, and Spark SQL
• Deep knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows
• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, SCDs, star/snowflake schemas)
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (ADLS/S3, ADF, Glue, etc.)
• Experience with migration tooling and approaches (code conversion, data reconciliation, parallel runs, phased cutover)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform)
• Strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams
