Job description

Seven Starling is a national telehealth practice dedicated to women’s mental health across every stage of the reproductive journey, from planning and conception through perimenopause. Our care model brings together specialized therapy, peer support, and medication management in one integrated program, and 92% of our patients report a clinically significant improvement in symptoms like depression and anxiety by the time they complete it. We work hand in hand with healthcare providers nationwide and accept major insurance plans, including UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna, so quality care stays accessible and affordable for the women who need it.

Why Clinicians Join Us

Our close partnerships with OB-GYN practices mean referrals come to you from trusted providers who already know your clients need specialized support, so you can spend your time doing the clinical work you’re passionate about instead of building a caseload from scratch.

What we look for

    • Hands-on experience providing individual therapy via telehealth, with a strong passion for supporting women's mental health across the perinatal, early parenting, perimenopause, and menopause stages of life.

    • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and respond to acute risk factors and clinical needs specific to perinatal and menopausal populations.

    • Experience providing culturally responsive, inclusive care to women from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

    • A warm, empathetic, and intuitive approach to listening, paired with strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

    • Proficiency with virtual care platforms, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and Google Workspace.

    • Excitement about joining an early-stage, mission-driven team and contributing to the future of women's and maternal mental healthcare.

What you'll be doing

    • Provide individual therapy to clients through a virtual care setting.

    • Have the opportunity to engage in clinical consultation for support in ongoing professional development, strengthen your clinical skills, and receive guidance as needed.

    • Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote work environment while remaining connected to a supportive, collaborative clinical team.

Who you are

    • Must hold an active, independent clinical license as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Psychologist. At this time, we are only able to consider independently licensed clinicians.

    • Preference will be given to candidates who hold active licenses in at least one of the following states: DC, CA, MD, NC, TN, TX, and/or VA.

    • Multiple licensure preferred, but opportunities to obtain additional licenses may be offered to those who qualify

    • Minimum of one year of clinical experience supporting women's mental health, with a focus on maternal mental health and/or perimenopause.

    • Experience providing therapy in a telehealth setting, with strong technical skills and comfort navigating virtual care platforms.

    • A passion for improving mental health outcomes, supporting underserved populations, and expanding access to quality care.

    • Comfort learning new systems and prior experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms.

    • PMH-C or perimenopause-specific certification such as the MSCP highly preferred
    • Bilingual skills are a plus!

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation for clinical intakes, ongoing sessions, and internal meetings.

  • Dedicated operational, HR, and IT support to help you succeed.

  • Cross-licensure sponsorship opportunities for eligible clinicians.

  • Reimbursement for new license applications, when eligible.

  • Flexible, transparent scheduling – you share your availability, and we work with you to build your schedule.

  • Professional development opportunities to support your continued growth.

  • Continuing education support for eligible clinicians.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership within the Clinical Team.

  • Professional liability insurance coverage.

  • Fully flexible contractor schedule, with opportunities to offer evening and weekend appointments.

  • No minimum weekly hour requirement.

  • 100% remote position.
