Job description

Job Title – Apache Tomcat Administrator

Job Location Remote (need someone in OR/WA/ID/UT/ND/AR)

Duration - 6 Months+

Rate - W2

Mode Of Interview -  Phone/Skype

Note – Need LinkedIn

Platform Administrator II (likely called something else in the real world)

Contract duration? 6 months - 12 months

The day-to-day stuff they will be doing

Apache Tomcat maintenance and support, MQ support, installation, configuration, architecture and support of application platform infrastructure technologies such as Web Servers, Application Servers, Messaging Engines and Directory Services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Expected duties include but are not limited to; software installation, upgrade, and patches; troubleshooting; performance tuning; and documentation.
  • Knowledge of configuring Apache HTTPD and Tomcat servers, Ansible, Troubleshooting problems when they arise, understanding of SSL,
  • Oversees the evaluation and selection of software product standards, including the design of standard configurations and architectures.
  • Engineering background

Specific technologies to be used and level of proficiency?

Apache Tomcat, MQ series 1-2 years. Basic understanding.
