Garage Equipment Field Service Engineer

Location: South Herts, North Essex & Outer North London

We're looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to service, diagnose and repair a wide range of garage equipment at customer sites.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced garage equipment engineer or someone with transferable mechanical, electrical or electro-mechanical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, diagnose and repair garage equipment, including vehicle lifts, wheel and tyre equipment, brake testers, gas analysers and smoke testers.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and follow health and safety procedures.
• Manage van stock to support First Time Fix targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship.
• Develop technical skills and attend training as required.
• Work overtime when needed, with generous overtime pay.

About You:

• Experience servicing garage equipment or working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical equipment.
• Previous field service experience is advantageous.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A customer-focused approach and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Basic PC and networking knowledge for equipment setup.
• Able to follow technical procedures and work to required standards.
• A full UK driving licence.
