Technology & Cybersecurity Risk Manager - Financial Services

Genworth is seeking a Manager, Technology and Cybersecurity Risk to assess, monitor, and report on technology, cyber, and data risks across our financial services operations. In this role, you will analyze risk data, develop and refine risk metrics and dashboards, and support regulatory and audit requirements. You will partner with IT, security, and business stakeholders to evaluate controls, perform risk assessments, and recommend mitigation strategies. You'll help enhance governance frameworks, support incident reviews, and drive continuous improvement to protect systems, data, and customers' financial security.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor technology and cybersecurity risks across systems and processes
• Analyze and interpret risk data to develop metrics, trends, and dashboards
• Perform and document risk and control assessments in partnership with IT and business teams
• Support regulatory, audit, and compliance reporting requirements
• Recommend and track remediation for identified risks and control gaps
• Enhance governance frameworks, policies, and standards for technology and cyber risk
• Collaborate on incident reviews and ensure lessons learned are reflected in controls
• Manage risk registers and maintain accurate, up-to-date risk documentation
• Support third-party and vendor technology risk assessments
• Present risk insights and recommendations to management and key stakeholders
