They are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance their team's capabilities in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, resilient data collection and monitoring systems. The Role • Design, deploy, and maintain secure and resilient data collection and monitoring solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data collection and system stability, performance, and usability. • Deploy, manage, and maintain Splunk Add-ons to support various data sources. • Develop comprehensive documentation, including engineering, security, and accreditation materials. • Implement and maintain strict role-based access controls for data security. • Design and deploy Splunk forwarders using centralized configuration management for consistent deployment. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent cyber experience. • 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role. • Proven experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms or Splunk. • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration, operating system security, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts. • Knowledge of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes and DoD policy/technical security guidance. • DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT Level II or higher certification, or ability to obtain within six months.
