IBM Aspera Migration Architect - W2 Role

IBM Aspera Migration Architect
Location: Remote (EST Hours Preferred)
Duration: 10 12+ Weeks

We're seeking a hands-on IBM Aspera Migration Architect to support a large enterprise platform migration. This consultant will stand up a new IBM Aspera environment and migrate enterprise file transfer workflows from a legacy environment into a new infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy a new IBM Aspera environment
• Assess existing transfer workflows, endpoints, permissions, and integrations
• Migrate or recreate enterprise file transfer configurations
• Build migration plans, runbooks, validation procedures, and cutover documentation
• Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams
• Validate transfer functionality following migration

Requirements

• Strong hands-on IBM Aspera experience
• Experience standing up or migrating Aspera environments
• Enterprise file transfer / Managed File Transfer experience
• Platform migration, divestiture, or carve-out experience
• Experience developing migration runbooks and technical documentation
• Excellent communication skills
