Hiring: Athletics Business Operations & Financial Strategy Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Athletics Business Operations & Financial Strategy professional with strong collegiate athletics finance and business-operations experience to support client advisory and consulting engagements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree required; Master s in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in collegiate athletics business operations, finance, or accounting.
• Experience in roles such as Assistant/Associate AD of Business Operations & Finance preferred.
• Working knowledge of NCAA/conference financial reporting requirements and internal controls.
• Experience with budget management, financial planning, accounting, compliance, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of athletics financial reporting requirements such as EADA.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and supporting consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise athletic departments on business operations, budgeting, financial controls, compliance, and reporting.
• Support financial analysis, expense management, efficiency studies, and scenario planning.
• Assess NCAA/conference financial reporting processes and recommend improvements.
• Develop benchmarking methodologies and frameworks for athletics financial operations.
• Support proposals, client pursuits, and practice development.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on athletics finance, accounting, staffing models, and business operations.
• Mentor engagement teams and support multiple concurrent client engagements.
