Firmware Development Engineer - Redmond, WA

Job Title: Firmware development engineer Location: Redmond, WA Onsite/ Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer location

Mode of Hire: 6+ months contract.

Key Requirements:
Strong embedded firmware development experience using C/C++.
Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and ARM processor architecture.
Development across Application Layer to HAL.
Hands-on hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, JTAG debuggers, I2C, SPI, and UART tools.
Experience implementing new features and debugging existing firmware functionality.
Knowledge of UEFI, ARM TrustZone, Bootloaders, and BSPs is a plus.
Understanding of SoC Hardware/Software architecture and device development lifecycle.
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD pipelines, and software release processes.
Programming experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
Highly Preferred (Windows Ecosystem):
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and device development.
Experience with Windows Drivers, WDK, SDK, ADK, and HLK.
Familiarity with Windows device validation, debugging, and deployment tools
