Job Description

We are seeking an Application Support Analyst to support our BlueCherry ERP environment and related business applications. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting BlueCherry, Simparel, Aptean, Exenta, or a comparable apparel, footwear, fashion, wholesale, or consumer products ERP platform.
This role serves as a key liaison between business users and technology teams, providing day-to-day application support, troubleshooting system issues, supporting business processes, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency. The analyst will work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Production, Distribution, Finance, and IT to ensure the ERP environment continues to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
Application Support
  • Provide day-to-day support for BlueCherry ERP and related business applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, data, and user-related issues.
  • Investigate root causes of issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Monitor system processes, scheduled jobs, and application performance to ensure reliable operation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party support partners when escalation is required.
Business Process Support
  • Support key business functions including:
    • Order Management
    • Inventory Management
    • Purchasing
    • Production
    • Allocation
    • Fulfillment
    • Shipping
    • Invoicing
  • Partner with business users to understand requirements and recommend system solutions.
  • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Assist with process documentation and standardization initiatives.
System Administration & Maintenance
  • Support user setup, security access, and role maintenance.
  • Assist with application configuration, master data maintenance, and system administration activities.
  • Create and maintain operational reports and inquiries.
  • Support data validation and reconciliation efforts across departments.
Testing, Training & Continuous Improvement
  • Assist with testing and validation of system enhancements, upgrades, and bug fixes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training and ongoing support for end users.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance business processes, system functionality, and user adoption.
Qualifications:
Required
  • 3+ years of ERP or enterprise application support experience.
  • Experience supporting an ERP system within an apparel, fashion, footwear, wholesale, retail, or consumer products environment.
  • Understanding of business processes related to order management, inventory, purchasing, production, allocation, fulfillment, and distribution.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business users.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
  • Hands-on experience with BlueCherry ERP, Simparel, Aptean, Exenta, or similar apparel industry ERP platforms.
  • Experience supporting warehouse, supply chain, and distribution operations.
  • SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience creating reports and analyzing data.
  • Experience supporting ERP upgrades, implementations, or business process improvement initiatives.
