Derby Permanent 60,000 - 65,000 DOE Hybrid - 3 days on site
An exciting opportunity for a Senior FP&A Business Partner to join an established organisation in a high-impact role, partnering with senior leadership and operational stakeholders to drive strategic and commercial decision-making.
This role goes beyond traditional reporting, with responsibility for providing financial insight across planning, investment, performance and long-term sustainability.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and constructive challenge
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling
- Communicate confidently with finance and non-finance individuals at all levels
- Develop financial models , business cases and sensitivity analysis from scratch
- Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly performance reporting
- Identify risks, opportunities and value-creation initiatives
- Develop and improve KPIs and reporting processes
- Build financial capability across non-finance teams
- Support finance transformation, automation and AI initiatives
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to wider FP&A initiatives
About you:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). QBE can be considered for particularly strong candidates who have the required commercial experience
- Strong post-qualified experience within FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis skills
- Advanced Excel capability, including Power Query and modelling
- Experience with Power BI and have experience of larger ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Dynamics 365 - essential
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge
- Experience within a complex, operational or service-led environment
