**Engineering Technician C (NDT) | Huntsville, AL, United States | On-site** We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician with expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to join a leading organization at the forefront of defense technology. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and safety of advanced composite rocket motor hardware produced at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. **The Role** • Perform ultrasonic (UT) inspections on various materials and products according to planning documents, drawings, and specifications. • Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment with limited oversight. • Develop work instructions from approved general procedures and assist in establishing UT inspection procedures. • Detect and identify defects such as cracks, inclusions, and porosity using UT techniques. • Interpret and evaluate test results, determining the acceptability of items based on standards and specifications. • Prepare components for non-destructive testing using available equipment and processes. **What You'll Need** • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, OR an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. • Ability to interpret engineering specifications, drawings, blueprints, and production plans. • Familiarity with various non-destructive testing methods, specifically ultrasonic testing. • Certification as a Level 2 Radiographic Inspector is strongly preferred. • Ability to work effectively in a digital and collaborative team-based setting. • Willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the role. **What's On Offer** • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge defense technology. • A dynamic and engaging work environment focused on innovation and quality. • A structured work schedule offering a balance between work and personal life (9/80 schedule with every other Friday off). • Potential for growth and professional development within a reputable organization.
