Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ASP.NET Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.

The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and C#.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.

• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and development best practices.

• Implement application authentication, authorization, security, and access-control mechanisms.

• Support application deployments, production releases, and post-production issues.

• Maintain technical documentation and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET.

• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core.

• Experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET 6+.

• Strong SQL Server experience, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization.

• Experience developing REST APIs, Web Services, JSON, and XML.

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular or React.

• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud-native application development.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework and LINQ.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and application security standards.

• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and production environments.

Work Environment

• Hybrid position based in Raleigh, NC.

• Candidates should be able to work onsite as required by the client.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for working with technical and business teams.
