Do you have a background in Mechanical Design or similar? Are you looking for a role with an industry-leading engineering company offering specialist training on software and bespoke machinery, alongside mentoring, chartership support and the opportunity to progress through the business?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established specialist engineering company that designs and manufactures automated machinery, equipment and components for the manufacturing industry. The company works with a range of blue-chip clients internationally across sectors including marine, aerospace, automotive and renewable energy, providing bespoke engineering solutions for specialist manufacturing processes.
In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and specifications before designing bespoke machinery and components using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. You will receive training on specialist equipment, components and software through mentoring and shadowing experienced engineers, while supporting projects from initial concepts through to manufacturing.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar from a machinery, automotive, aerospace or component design background looking for a Monday to Friday role offering specialist training, progression, chartership support and an early finish on Fridays.
The Role:

• Designing bespoke machinery, components and equipment using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
• Working with customers to understand specifications, with training, mentoring and chartership support
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, with an early finish at 1:30pm on Fridays

The Person:

• Background in Mechanical Design, Component Design, Machinery Design or similar
• Commutable to Saltash
