Job Description

Platform Engineer - Cross Domain Infrastructure - Government Services - SC/DV Clearance

Are you a security cleared Platform Engineer with experience of Windows Server and Trusted Gateway platforms?

I have an immediate opportunity for someone to join a busy programme for our government client to keep highly secure environments available, resilient, and aligned to strict security standards.

Due to the urgency and nature of the role, candidates who are British Nationals and hold active SC/DV clearance will be preferred.

I am keen to speak with candidates who have

  • Significant experience as a senior platform, infrastructure, systems, or cross domain engineer in complex or highly regulated environments.
  • Hands-on experience engineering, operating, or assuring HAGs, CDS, or other trusted information exchange platforms and patterns such as data diodes and multi-level security.
  • Strong track record designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure, including Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, certificate services, identity and authentication services, PowerShell, and VMware vSphere.
  • Experience defining and managing information release policies, content validation, file sanitisation, malware inspection, and data transfer governance across security domains.
  • Strong grasp of trust boundaries, security domains, data segregation, cryptographic services, encryption, PKI life cycle management, and secure communications.
  • Experience contributing to security accreditation and assurance for classified or regulated systems, including integration with identity, security monitoring, SIEM, and Windows services.
  • Background with Agile or DevOps-oriented teams, infrastructure monitoring and ITSM tooling, hybrid on prem and cloud environments, and familiarity with NCSC guidance, Secure by Design, Zero Trust, and UK government security frameworks.

Sounds like you? Apply now for immediate consideration!
