Job Description

Job Title: Lead/ Senior Data Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Job Type: Long term Contract

Mode of work: Onsite

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Databricks
  • Architect and maintain Delta Lake solutions for reliability and performance
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and pipeline observability
  • Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Min Ten+ Years of Experience required.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance in big Plus
  • Databricks (strong hands-on experience)- Must Have
  • Apache Spark and PySpark
  • Python and/or Scala
  • SQL and data modeling
  • ETL/ELT pipeline design and optimization
  • Delta Lake

Preferred Skills

  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Agile/Scrum delivery experience
