Operation Lead | London, United Kingdom | Hybrid

The Role
- Oversee the operational running and strategic direction of a domestic abuse service.
- Provide line management and leadership to a dedicated staff team.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, safeguarding protocols, and health and safety standards, including Psychologically Informed Physical Environment (PIPE) requirements.
- Manage the safety, security, and maintenance of the refuge, including landlord and housing team relations.
- Uphold an inclusive, anti-racist, and feminist approach in all service delivery.
- Facilitate the safe transition of service users and ensure high-quality, person-centred support.
What You'll Need
- Solid general education, ideally with Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
- Proven experience in supervising staff and delivering support to individuals with diverse needs.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, management, and safeguarding practices in domestic abuse contexts.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring, welfare benefits, and relevant housing legislation.
- Experience working within domestic abuse services and a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to work under pressure and flexibly.
- Proficiency in one or more South Asian languages in addition to English is a genuine occupational requirement.
