About the Role

We are seeking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Adelaide team. In this role, you will provide senior project management, planning and control capability to support the successful delivery of the HAMBS Target State transformation program. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrated program delivery position across schedule, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues, financial forecast, resource requirements, change control and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day project management, coordination and control of Target State activities within the HAMBS delivery and governance framework.
• Develop, maintain and control the integrated Target State schedule, incorporating functional delivery plans, product activities, testing, customer activities, transition and change, operational readiness and external dependencies.
• Maintain program milestones, critical path, dependencies, assumptions, constraints and schedule contingency.
• Develop and maintain the integrated Target State financial forecast in collaboration with the Transformation Program Director and Finance.
• Maintain visibility of actual expenditure, financial commitments, forecast-to-complete and Estimate at Completion.
• Reconcile financial forecasts to the integrated delivery schedule, resource plan, contractual commitments and current delivery assumptions.
• Develop and maintain the integrated Target State resource forecast, aligning resource demand with the delivery schedule and program priorities.
• Maintain visibility of planned resource requirements across relevant disciplines, including Product, Business Analysis, Development, Testing, Technology, Change and other program capabilities.
• Work with functional leaders to reconcile program resource demand against available and planned capacity.
• Maintain effective Target State program controls, including risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, decisions, actions and change control.
• Ensure program risks and issues have appropriate ownership, treatments, target dates and escalation pathways.
• Facilitate regular review of material risks, issues and dependencies with accountable owners.
• Proactively identify emerging risks through analysis of schedule, delivery performance, financial and resource information.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, Information Technology or a related field; or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2/Prince2 Agile Practitioner or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Agile or hybrid delivery certification such as AgilePM, PMI-ACP, SAFe or equivalent is desirable.
• Relevant financial, portfolio or program-management training is advantageous.
• 7+ years' demonstrated project management experience, including senior responsibility for complex technology, transformation or business-change initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stream projects or programs involving significant cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules, critical paths, milestones and delivery forecasts.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated financial forecasts for complex technology initiatives, including actuals, commitments, forecast-to-complete, EAC and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to connect schedule movements, resource assumptions and financial outcomes and undertake scenario analysis to support management decisions.
• Strong experience in resource and capacity forecasting, including identification of resource constraints and their implications for schedule and cost.
• Demonstrated experience managing RAID, dependencies, actions, decisions and project change control.
