Role : Supply Chain Analytics Lead

Location: Boston, MA – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)



Job Summary

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Lead to support supply chain analytics, operational performance metrics, and cost optimization initiatives within a cGMP manufacturing environment.

The consultant will provide analytical support across Site Planning, Materials Operations, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) operations. This role will help improve visibility, enable data-driven decision-making, optimize inventory and service performance, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Planning, Logistics, Materials Management, Manufacturing Operations, or Business Analytics, along with strong Power BI, Excel, KPI, dashboard, and reporting experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage supply chain analytics, KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
  • Analyze operational data and translate complex information into actionable business recommendations.
  • Support Site Planning, Materials Operations, and 3PL activities.
  • Perform spend analysis, financial modeling, and cost optimization.
  • Analyze inventory, logistics, planning, materials, and operational performance.
  • Identify trends, gaps, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and other business teams.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and present analytical findings to leadership.
  • Support data-driven decision-making for both tactical execution and strategic supply chain planning.
  • Work with ERP systems, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.
  • Maintain and improve supply chain performance-management processes.
Required Skills
  • 4–6+ years of experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Analytics, Planning, Logistics, Materials Management, Finance, or Business Intelligence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting.
  • Strong Power BI experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with inventory management, logistics, supply chain planning, or materials operations.
  • Experience with spend analysis, financial modeling, or cost optimization.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to present insights and recommendations to senior/leadership audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences.
  • Experience working in a cGMP/GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or regulated supply chain operations.
  • Experience with 3PL operations.
  • Experience with executive-level reporting and performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
