The role requires strong software development expertise, hands-on experience with Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and cloud technologies, along with the ability to integrate AI-powered voice applications with enterprise systems and existing contact center platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Agentic AI solutions to modernize enterprise IVR and contact center applications.

  • Build conversational AI agents capable of understanding user intent, maintaining context, and executing multistep workflows.

  • Integrate LLMs, NLP, and speech technologies into voice-enabled applications.

  • Develop REST APIs, microservices, and backend integrations with enterprise systems and databases.

  • Implement AI agent orchestration, tool calling, automated decision-making, and workflow management.

  • Integrate conversational AI solutions with platforms such as Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and Genesys Cloud.

  • Implement prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and AI agent workflows.

  • Develop secure, scalable, and reliable AI applications using cloud technologies.

  • Implement authentication, authorization, privacy controls, human escalation, and responsible AI safeguards.

  • Evaluate and optimize AI solutions for accuracy, latency, reliability, and customer experience.

  • Perform unit, integration, and performance testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders in Agile development environments.

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, technical documentation, and applicable federal security and accessibility standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with 12+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may substitute for a degree, subject to contract requirements.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance.

  • Strong programming experience in Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar languages.

  • Experience developing or integrating AI/ML solutions, conversational AI applications, or LLM-powered systems.

  • Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integration.

  • Understanding of Agentic AI concepts, including agent orchestration, tool calling, context management, and automated workflows.

  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent cloud platforms.

  • Knowledge of NLP, speech recognition, and conversational AI technologies.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Ability to meet customer-specific suitability and background investigation requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel.

  • Experience with IVR and contact center platforms, including Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Genesys Cloud, or Twilio.

  • Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, or other enterprise LLM platforms.

  • Experience developing voice-enabled AI agents with speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) integrations.

  • Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.

  • Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.

  • Expertise in prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, AI guardrails, and responsible AI practices.

  • Experience integrating AI solutions with legacy enterprise applications.

  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards, including NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and secure software development practices.
