Job Description

Job Title-Quality technician

Job location- Sanford, NC

Pay rate $23/h to $25/h

Shift-1st-6am to 2:30Pm, 30 min Lunch break

Contract Duration- 12 months-possible to extend

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate for this position will have 1-3 years (minimum) working within a
production manufacturing shop atmosphere.
Basic familiarity with Materials and various Processing methods.
Basic blueprint reading skills. Will teach detailed use on the job as well.
Willing to learn some basic input of receiving data using spread sheet functionality.
This position requires an individual to be extremely detail oriented, a fast learner and
willing to take direction on many technical levels.
Candidate will be reviewing technical documentation related to Receiving & In-process
inspection on Materials, Processes and electrical components.
Conduct shop floor quality audits at production lines along with receiving of incoming
materials and electronic components.
Must learn and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform these and other comparable related duties as instructed by management.
Review and processing material and processing certs will involve printing, scanning,
copying, and naming electronic files for easy identification and retrieval.
Excellent attendance is a must.

Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be detail oriented and able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must know be able to enter data accurately into MS Office Excel and Write reports in
Word.

Must be computer proficient saving files into structured folders.
Education and Experience:
Associate degree or 2-years related experience.
Microsoft Excel, Word .
Must be able to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, charts, and tables.
Ability to read tape measures and various types of basic inspection and precision
measuring instruments.


Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply basic math.
Ability to read scales in inches, metric, and basic understanding of fractions.
Reasoning Abilities:
Requires the use of judgement to plan and perform work, make decisions accordingly.
Candidate must be able to attend training classes from both internal and external subject
matter experts.
