Social Media Intern

Retrofête is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media & Graphic Design Intern to join our team and help bring the brand to life across social platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fashion, visual storytelling, social media, and emerging creative technologies. You’ll work closely with the social media and creative teams to develop engaging, elevated content for Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels, with a particular focus on graphic design and social-first storytelling.

What You’ll Do

• Create visually compelling Instagram Story sets and social media graphics in Figma, maintaining Retrofête’s visual identity and aesthetic.
• Develop story concepts, layouts, typography, and graphic treatments that translate fashion campaigns and brand moments into engaging social content.
• Assist with the creation of Instagram Stories, feed graphics, launch assets, event content, product features, and other digital creative.
• Utilize AI tools to develop, enhance, and ideate social media graphics, imagery, concepts, and creative treatments.
• Experiment with emerging AI and design tools to find new ways to create fresh, visually engaging social content.
• Adapt existing campaign imagery and creative assets into social-first formats and storytelling sequences.
• Collaborate with the social and creative teams on content calendars, campaigns, launches, and day-to-day social needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong interest in fashion, social media, graphic design, and visual culture.
• Proficiency in Figma and a strong understanding of composition, typography, color, and layout.
• A strong visual eye and an ability to create polished, fashion-forward graphics.
• Experience creating content specifically for Instagram Stories and social media.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and an eagerness to experiment with new technologies.
• Ability to take a creative direction and translate it into engaging, cohesive social assets.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple creative projects in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong understanding of current social media aesthetics and trends.

$17.50/hr + School Credit
