Job Description

Logistics Lead/UK | Hybrid

We are supporting a major network deployment programme and are looking for an experienced Logistics Lead to take ownership of equipment forecasting, warehouse management and end-to-end logistics operations.

Working closely with deployment teams, suppliers, vendors and logistics partners, you will ensure critical network equipment is delivered, tracked and available to support large-scale rollout activities. This is a highly visible role requiring strong coordination, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end logistics and warehouse operations
  • Forecast equipment and stock requirements across multiple deployment programmes
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries with suppliers, vendors and logistics partners
  • Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy and associated costs
  • Manage reverse logistics, including returns, decommissioning and equipment reuse
  • Support the management of faulty equipment and replacement stock
  • Produce regular reporting on stock availability, risks, issues and spend
  • Drive continuous improvement across logistics processes and ways of working
  • Work closely with programme and deployment teams to ensure delivery milestones are met

Experience Required

  • Proven experience within a logistics or supply chain role in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Experience supporting telecoms, network deployment or infrastructure programmes
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics processes, including forecasting, inventory management, warehousing and reverse logistics
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers, logistics providers and warehouse partners
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing budgets, stock costs and inventory controls
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and solve complex operational challenges

Desirable

  • Understanding of network rollout activities, including acquisition, design, build or transmission
  • Experience working with large-scale field deployment programmes
