Job Title: AP Operations Lead

Location: LA NOV office, Tuesday–Thursday- Onsite

Client: Major Entertainment Company

Duration: 6 Month Contract, with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $80/hour ON W2

Role Summary:

Netflix is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Operations Lead to support and optimize its Accounts Payable function. This role will focus on operational efficiency, process improvement, automation, and cross-functional collaboration, including exploring AI and other technologies to streamline AP workflows.

The ideal candidate will have strong AP expertise, leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of improving processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Evaluate and improve end-to-end AP processes, systems, SLAs, and KPIs.

·       Identify and implement opportunities for automation, AI, and workflow improvements.

·       Partner with AP, Finance Procurement Operations, Business Analysts, and FinTech teams on process and system enhancements.

·       Build and improve AP dashboards and reporting for operational visibility.

·       Act as an AP subject matter expert and partner with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.

·       Manage AP-related escalations, M&A process changes, and recurring operational issues.

·       Support development of metrics, presentations, communications, and process documentation.

·       Own month-end AP close activities, including aging reports, accruals, timelines, and close calendars.

·       Support audits, SOX compliance activities, process walkthroughs, and documentation requests.

·       Provide backup support for payment processing and other critical AP functions.

·       Own the AskAP distribution list, including response SLAs and stakeholder communication.

Required Qualifications:

·       5+ years of end-to-end Accounts Payable experience, including invoice processing, payments, risk management, and process improvement.

·       Strong knowledge of global AP processes, principles, and regulations.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

·       Solid understanding of SOX compliance.

·       Experience with process automation, technology, and continuous improvement.

·       Ability to work effectively with technical/FinTech teams and identify process bottlenecks.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.

·       Strong stakeholder-management and partnership skills.

Ideal Candidate:

A hands-on AP operations leader who understands the full AP lifecycle and can identify inefficiencies, drive process improvements, partner with technology teams, and communicate effectively with both Finance and business stakeholders.
