Senior Software Engineer (gn) Camera Integration Framework - Wandelbots GmbH

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build the foundation for integrating cameras into our cloud-native platform. You will design a scalable framework that enables both our engineers and camera manufacturers to integrate new devices with minimal effort, shaping how vision devices become a substantial part of the Wandelbots ecosystem.
Activities
- Design and implement a scalable integration framework for cameras. - Define the architecture and build production-ready camera drivers. - Create the SDK and interfaces for future integrations. - Collaborate with infrastructure and robotics engineers, product teams, and hardware partners. - Develop and maintain components running inside our Kubernetes infrastructure.
Requirements
- Several years of experience building backend systems (e.g., Python, Go). - Expertise in API design and versioning. - Experience developing containerized software and familiarity with Kubernetes-based deployments. - Ability to take ownership of architecture, make technical decisions, and drive projects from concept to production. - Deep expertise in at least one of the following: Industrial Vision & Camera Integration, Camera Development, or Cloud-native Hardware Platforms.
Team
You will join our international, cross-functional teams of 100+ colleagues who value knowledge sharing and collaboration. You will work closely with infrastructure and robotics engineers, product teams, and hardware partners.
