Quality Engineer
Location: Dagenham, London
Salary: Up to £45k
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Mon-Fri
The Role Quality Engineer
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and improving quality performance across manufacturing operations, ensuring customer requirements are met and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business.
Working closely with internal departments and external customers, you will manage quality activities, support new product introduction processes, investigate quality concerns, and ensure quality systems and documentation are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities Quality Engineer
- Support and monitor quality performance within the assigned production area.
- Respond to and coordinate customer quality queries and concerns.
- Lead and support APQP activities, including the development of FMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams and GR&R studies.
- Complete customer PPAP submissions to required standards and timescales.
- Manage product and process changes, ensuring quality requirements are effectively implemented.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
Requirements Quality Engineer
- 3 years experience in a Quality Engineer or similar manufacturing-based role.
- Some exposure to Team Leadership
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and 8D methodologies.
- Experience producing and maintaining quality documentation and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of precision measurement techniques and inspection methods.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of change management processes within a manufacturing environment.
