Job Description:
- Risk Analytics Consultant 3 (Contingent)
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics.
- Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models.
- Accountable for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance.
- Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals. Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff.
- Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies.
- This role will support Basel III Capital and Risk initiatives with a primary focus on data management, data sourcing, data mapping, data quality analysis, and testing activities supporting regulatory capital and risk reporting processes.
- The consultant will work across various teams to ensure critical Basel III data is sourced, validated, transformed, tested, and delivered accurately to downstream risk and capital calculation platforms.
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Risk Analytics and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Risk Analytics challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Risk Analytics.
- Advanced Excel (Required)
- Complex formulas and functions; Pivot tables and data analysis; Reconciliation and validation activities.
- SQL (Required)
- Data validation and reconciliation; Joins, aggregations, and data analysis
- Python (Required)
- Data manipulation and analysis; Execution of data validation and testing activities\"
- 4 plus years of experience in data analysis, data management, data mapping, testing, or business analysis within Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Services.
- Experience supporting regulatory, risk, capital, or enterprise data initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.\"
- Experience supporting Basel III, regulatory capital, or risk reporting programs.
- Experience with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, and data governance practices.
- Experience executing integration testing, UAT, and reconciliation testing for data initiatives.
- Experience working within large financial institutions and highly regulated environments.
- Hybrid: 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote.
