Leeds<br />Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 per annum Profile – Mechanical Engineer My client is a world leader in the provision of highly advanced technical solutions to Energy and Subsea sectors. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

Job Role – Mechanical Engineer Reporting to the Product Lead the Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible for delivering technical information and instructions within a planned schedule.

Provide advice to customers, other operations and departments across the company business on design, problems and solutions.

Duties – Mechanical Engineer • Create, analyse and develop Product Design to meet customers’ or the industry’s needs, having an awareness of good economic design and safety, both in manufacture and function<br />• Design, produce and analyse mathematical models as well as undertaking mechanical design calculations and draw design conclusions based on those.<br />• Create and maintain product documentation (requirements, specification, design, development, integration, test procedures and results) following company procedures.<br />• To engage in product development work within the product portfolio.<br />• Discuss the customer’s requirements and identify products which meet these.<br />• Give technical advice on the application and proper use of products<br />• Adhere to the processes stipulated in the Engineering Procedures (EPs) and the Business Process Management system (BPM).

Skills/Experience – Mechanical Engineer • Degree in Engineering or suitable alternative qualification<br />• Experience with Mathcad, AutoCAD and Inventor or similar 3D CAD package Candidates who are currently an Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, Project Engineer, Development Engineer, Analysis Engineer, Stress Engineer, Engineering Manager, Mechanical Engineer, product Designer, Product Engineer and Design Lead could be suitable for this position.
