Product Owner
Quick Overview
Job Description
Transform9 builds conversational AI agents for healthcare providers that handle patient calls, scheduling, routing, and routine requests, helping practices improve access to care and reduce front-office workload. Our product sits at the intersection of healthcare operations and software, supporting practices as they serve patients more efficiently and consistently.
In this role, you will help shape how product ideas move from insight to delivery, working closely with cross-functional partners to turn customer needs and business priorities into meaningful outcomes. You'll play a central role in keeping teams aligned, maintaining momentum, and ensuring the product roadmap reflects real user needs and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously groom the product backlog for your area(s), writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Partner with engineering and design in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retros to keep delivery on track
- Translate customer feedback, data, and stakeholder input into prioritized requirements
- Define and track success metrics for shipped features; iterate based on results
- Act as the primary point of contact for your product area — answering questions, unblocking the team, and making prioritization calls
- Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, and status clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams (sales, support, CS) to surface and incorporate real customer needs
- Partner with customer voice and GTM efforts. Feed structured, validated requirements back from customer feedback.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an agile software environment
- Experience in healthcare, healthcare SaaS, or patient-facing workflow products
- Strong ability to write clear, testable user stories and manage a backlog
- Comfort balancing competing priorities and making tradeoff decisions with incomplete information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working directly with engineering teams in Scrum/Kanban workflows
- Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar
- Experience working closely with leadership and communicating roadmap, tradeoffs, and status clearly
- Hands-on collaboration with customer-facing teams such as sales, support, or customer success
- Eligible to work in the United States
Nice to Have
- Experience with voice AI, conversational AI, or NLP-driven products.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and SOC 2 Type II as they intersect with product requirements.
- CSPO or similar certification a plus, not required
- Top-tier health coverage: medical, dental & vision
- 401(k)
- Paid time off + holidays, and paid parental leave
