Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, amendments, assignments, and related agreements
• Partner with leasing and business teams to support transactions and mitigate legal risk
• Advise on landlord-tenant issues and other commercial real estate matters
• Provide practical legal guidance on leasing strategy and dispute avoidance
• Manage multiple matters in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
• 6+ years of commercial real estate leasing experience
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience with retail, mixed-use, or commercial leasing preferred
• Ability to balance legal analysis with business objectives
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
• Law firm and/or in-house experience preferred
