Job Description

IT Project Manager - Global Banking client - Long term B2B / Freelancing Project


Amazing opportunity to join a Global Banking client managing multiple critical greenfield projects. Its an amazing opportunity with one of our biggest clients to lead an established team on a pan-European scale.


Contract Length: 6 month rolling


Location: 2-3 days onsite per week in Glasgow


Start date: 5th October


To be successful in this role you must have proven experience as an IT PM operating on a large scale with an agile methodology on infrastructure projects.


Key Skills / Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Programme Management and Delivery Management
  • Proven delivery of large, complex programmes, managing large teams
  • Successfully managed 5+ major programmes covering both application and infrastructure delivery
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Proven strategic leadership, programme management and complex project delivery experience
  • Experience in deal shaping, programme strategy and resolving complex delivery challenges
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness, including estimation, budgeting, cost control and forecasting
  • Proven management of cross-service-line programmes and multiple delivery teams
  • Experienced in third-party supplier and vendor management
  • Strong project governance, monitoring, controls and programme forecasting
  • Proven risk assessment and risk management across large-scale programmes
  • Excellent customer-facing and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership experience across large, multi-disciplinary teams
