This employer is seeking a skilled Technician I to join their team supporting critical equipment maintenance at a government facility. This role is ideal for individuals detail-oriented, with a knack for problem-solving, and experience in asset preservation. The Role

• Conduct inspections, assessments, and categorizations of military and support equipment.
• Perform surface preparation, touch-up painting, and application of corrosion prevention compounds (CPCs).
• Operate and maintain CPC application equipment, including compressors, guns, and grinders.
• Accurately identify corrosion categories, stages, and their correlations using provided checklists.
• Carry out routine maintenance on application equipment and follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational degree preferred.
• Two years of related experience (military or commercial) is preferred.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to pass a background check for identification credentials.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and corrosion prevention procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively as part of a team.
