CI-CD Pipeline Developer with Security Clearance

Description SAIC is seeking a CI/CD Pipeline Developer with strong technical depth in automation and pipeline engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a heavy emphasis on GitLab-centric workflows.
• Collaborate with Java developers, C++ developers, testers, and infrastructure teams to streamline code integration and delivery.
• Implement branching strategies, merge processes, and version control standards using Git and GitLab.
• Enhance developer experience through automation, pipeline refinement, and environment consistency.
• Support containerization and orchestration strategies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Maintain detailed documentation of pipeline architecture, configurations, and process workflows.

Qualifications Required Education

• BS degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Required Skills

• Experience using the GitLab environment for CI/CD pipeline creation, orchestration, and automation.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows and modern branching strategies.
• Experience supporting Java-based applications or working directly with Java development teams.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to scalable and secure software delivery. Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
