Head of Growth Capital (JBWere)

• Establish and lead a newly enhanced alternatives capability within the CIO Office
• Shape investment strategy across private equity, venture capital and alternative assets
• Influence portfolio construction and investment innovation for high-net-worth clients

In the role of Head of Growth Capital, you will work closely with our Private Wealth & JBWere team, contributing to key business priorities, member of CIO Office investment committees and continuously improving how we serve our clients.

You'll make an impact each day by:

• Define and execute the Growth Capital investment framework across alternatives
• Lead origination, due diligence and manager selection activities
• Develop market insights and investment views across illiquid asset classes
• Partner with advisers and clients to educate and communicate alternative investment opportunities
• Build team capability and embed strong governance standards across the investment lifecycle

You'll bring to this role:

• Deep expertise across private equity, venture capital and alternative investments
• Strong investment judgement across direct, fund and co-investment opportunities
• Experience assessing illiquid investment structures and complex opportunities
• Ability to communicate sophisticated investment concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Extensive experience within private markets, alternatives or institutional investing
