IT Security Manager

We’re working with an international technology-led group to appoint an IT Security Manager to support and develop its Group-wide cyber security, governance, risk and compliance strategy across Europe.<br />This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll help shape security standards, strengthen cyber resilience and build a strong security-first culture across a growing organisation.<br />The role<br />You’ll work closely with senior IT leadership to:

• Develop and implement Group-wide IT &amp; Cyber Security strategy
• Own security policies, governance frameworks and risk registers
• Lead cyber risk assessments, remediation and incident response
• Oversee external security partners and supplier security audits
• Lead annual penetration testing and security awareness programmes
• Support Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and similar frameworks
• Improve security monitoring, logging and SIEM capabilities
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery and acquisition due diligence
• Produce clear security reporting for IT and business leadership<br />The technology<br />You’ll work across a modern security environment including:<br />Microsoft Azure, Intune, Okta, Zscaler, SentinelOne, Mimecast, Tenable, KnowBe4, SD-WAN, SIEM<br />About you<br />We’re looking for an experienced IT/cyber security professional with a strong background in security governance, risk and compliance, ideally within a multi-site or international environment.<br />You’ll bring:
• Experience developing IT security policies and governance frameworks
• Strong Azure security and cloud governance knowledge
• Experience with Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 or similar
• Practical knowledge of security technologies and SIEM platforms
• Cyber security risk and incident management experience
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
• A commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused approach
