Your mission :

Join our innovative squads as a Senior-level Developer, where you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of operational delivery processes, including but not limited to automation activities. This chapter automates actions that allow us to manage the number of machines we are responsible for. This includes, but is not limited to, patching, reboots, and configuration.

If you are experienced in Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, EfficientIP, Python, Bash, APIs, and associated tools, and have good Linux system knowledge, we invite you to be a key contributor to these subjects.

Responsibilities

1. Software Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions to enhance automation within the chapter.
• Collaborate with team members to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing services by identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Write unit and integration tests to increase confidence during code development and deployment.

2. Automation and Orchestration

• Utilize GitLab, AAP (Ansible Tower), CFEngine, and scripting skills to automate code deployment and analysis.
• Implement automated workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks.

3. Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional team members, including architects, network engineers, system administrators, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to foster effective collaboration within the squad.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the collective expertise of the team.

4. Documentation

• Document code, scripts, and configurations thoroughly to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer within the squad.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the squad.

Your profile :

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, EfficientIP, and Python and Bash, with good knowledge of Unix system administration.
• Experience working with APIs and associated tools (curl, Postman, JSON); experience with VTOM and SNOW would be beneficial.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and practices.
• Experience with N8N, Perl, Kickstart, Podman, or HAProxy would be a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a developer, with strong Linux system administration knowledge.
• Proven track record of working in a collaborative and agile development environment.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirements

• EU citizenship.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
