We’re looking for a friendly, dependable veterinary receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis and help create a positive experience for every client and pet who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do

As a veterinary receptionist, you’ll help keep our front desk running smoothly while providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greet clients and patients warmly and help create a welcoming veterinary hospital experience.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails, respond to questions, and direct client concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Schedule appointments while helping maximize efficiency, patient flow, and the daily veterinary schedule.
  • Check clients in and out, process payments, and ensure each visit ends with a positive experience.
  • Maintain the appearance and organization of the veterinary reception area.
  • Provide friendly, compassionate, and discreet emotional support to clients during difficult or sensitive situations.
  • Communicate professionally with clients about veterinary services, appointments, and general questions.
  • Work closely with the veterinary team to help ensure excellent communication and smooth daily operations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a veterinary receptionist who is compassionate, organized, and comfortable working in a busy veterinary environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1 year of veterinary experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A calm, compassionate approach when working with clients and their pets.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary setting.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn veterinary practice management software and other technology.
  • A dependable, team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
  • A self-starter mindset and desire to continue developing your veterinary knowledge and customer service skills.
