24x7 DevOps Shift [$256k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered. We are looking for a highly versatile Site Reliability Operations Engineer to command our 24/7 watchfloor, leveraging deep Linux, AWS, and DevOps expertise to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize mission-critical dataflow applications.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 6+ years • Total Compensation: $256k+ yearly Job Description: • Ensure data reliability and accuracy by monitoring and maintaining application systems. • Contribute to operational success through continuous performance monitoring and proactive troubleshooting, including system configuration and code base changes. • Maintain system health by tracking metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and application status to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance. • Support watchfloor operations by identifying service degradation, failed dataflows, system errors, and application issues, escalating as needed. • Perform basic Linux system administration tasks, such as checking service status, starting/stopping/restarting services, reviewing logs, and validating resource usage. • Support cloud-based operations using the AWS Console or AWS CLI for instance health checks, system status review, server restarts/reboots, and operational troubleshooting. • Work in a rotating shift schedule (6AM-6PM / 6PM-6AM) to provide 24/7 application support on the watch floor. • Key technologies include Software Development, Systems Engineering, Dataflow, Linux, AWS, NiFi, Splunk, Kafka, Ansible, Docker, Grafana, Kibana, Logstash, Terraform, Gitlab, and DevOps practices.
