Our experienced technicians and veterinarians are happy to share their knowledge.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nYour Day-to-Day\nAs a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will:\n\n Assist veterinarians with appointments, procedures, surgery, and dentistry\n Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and weights\n Educate clients about their pets' care and treatment plans\n Prepare, anesthetize, and monitor surgical patients\n Perform laboratory testing and collect diagnostic samples\n Take diagnostic radiographs\n Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed\n Provide excellent patient nursing and monitoring\n Assist with acupuncture and laser therapy\n Safely handle and restrain patients\n Maintain clean, organized treatment and exam areas\n Communicate effectively with veterinarians and team members\n Help create a positive experience for every patient and client\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\n\n State license to work as a certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician in state of desired employment\n Experience with Ezyvet software preferred\n 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred; proficiency in anesthesia monitoring preferred\n Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance\n Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE\n Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, etc.\n Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages\n Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety\n\nBenefits Offered:\n\n Paid time off\n Health, dental, and vision insurance\n Retirement benefits (401k, Roth k and matching)\n Bonus incentive\n Career and professional development\n State licensing fee reimbursement\n Employee Assistance Program\n Employee Referral Program\n\nBenefits offered may vary depending on full or part time employment status according to company policy. \nPay Range: USD $24.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
