AI Engineering Manager

The AIDLC Senior Manager is responsible for leading multiple AI-enabled engineering teams, driving adoption of AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) practices, and delivering business outcomes through AI-native software development. This role partners with Product, Architecture, Engineering, QE, DevOps, and Business stakeholders to accelerate delivery using AI coding agents, automation, and agentic workflows while ensuring governance, quality, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise adoption of AIDLC practices across multiple teams and programs.
• Manage AI-enabled PODs consisting of Software Engineers, AI Engineers, QE, DevOps, and SRE resources.
• Drive AI transformation initiatives and coach teams on AI-first development methodologies.
• Establish AIDLC governance, engineering standards, security controls, and compliance practices.
• Oversee delivery execution, release readiness, quality metrics, and operational reporting.
• Partner with Product Owners and Architects to align AI-enabled solutions with business priorities.
• Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code quality assessments.
• Drive implementation of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Develop AIDLC operating models, reusable specifications, prompts, templates, and best practices.
• Mentor Engineering Managers, Leads, and AI Coaches on AI-native software development.
