Salary: $150,000 – $190,000 per year + ProSal

Sign-on Bonus: Available

Location: Boston, MA

Lovejoy Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive general practice and urgent care services to companion animals in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

A 2.5-to-1 staff-to-doctor ratio. You will have the support—and respect—you need to deliver exceptional care. Our team of technicians, assistants, and client service representatives works closely with our veterinarians to ensure the best outcomes for every patient, whether they are here for a wellness visit or an urgent concern.

General practice and urgent care under one roof. You will see a dynamic, varied caseload spanning routine wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, and same-day urgent cases—keeping your clinical skills sharp while making a real difference for the Boston community we serve.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
  • Active veterinary license in good standing in the state of Massachusetts prior to start date
  • Comfort triaging and managing urgent care cases preferred but not required
  • Commitment to collaborative teamwork and high-quality patient care
