Job Description

The Lead Driver (LD) position is a critical role to support daily operations and drivers to ensure safety and success for everyone at 725. LDs will support opening and closing activities, as well as miscellaneous tasks throughout the day from helping troubleshoot issues throughout the day, assisting with fleet and driver needs, reporting and ensuring we meet Amazon requirements, and other tasks and assignments as they come up.

* Lead Drivers must be reliable, flexible, humble, willing to learn, and adaptable.

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Have a proven track record of safety and reliability (good attendance, consistent route completion, willingness to help others) at 725.

  • Care about helping others succeed and will go above and beyond for the team.

  • Are willing to learn new tools and processes (Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.).

  • Communicate consistently and professionally- keeping up with messages and sharing updates is critical in a 7-day operation.

  • Want to lead by example to show others what being successful at 725 looks like.

Who Should Not Apply

This role is not for you if:

  • You struggle to separate personal relationships from work when giving direction or feedback.

  • Attendance and punctuality are a challenge—missing an opening or closing shift can disrupt the entire day.

  • You prioritize personal recognition over team success; great leaders take responsibility when things go wrong and credit the team when things go well.

  • You think office work is easier than being on the road—this role requires flexibility and effort in both areas.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute opening and closing activities as scheduled.

  • Provide coaching and feedback to improve safety and performance.

  • Monitor on-road activities, assist with route issues, and address safety events and performance issues.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support operations and the team.

Qualifications

  • Humble, eager to learn, and willing to follow processes accurately.

  • Open to feedback and committed to growth—no ego, no “better than others” mentality.

  • Excellent attendance and flexibility to work a rotating schedule (LD shifts vary weekly; non-LD days will be driver shifts).

If you’re ready to learn, grow, and help 725 be the best it can be—let’s talk!
