Front End Team Leader

Giant Eagle is seeking a Front End Team Leader to guide a team of developers building engaging digital experiences for our retail customers. In this role, you'll own the delivery of high-quality, responsive user interfaces that support eCommerce, loyalty, and in-store experiences. You'll collaborate with product, UX, and back-end teams, ensure code quality and performance, and champion best practices in accessibility, security, and testing. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of front-end developers delivering digital retail experiences for Giant Eagle customers.
• Translate business and UX requirements into high-quality, accessible, responsive user interfaces.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain front-end architecture and design standards.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and back-end teams to plan and deliver new features on schedule.
• Optimize site performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility for web and mobile web.
• Support sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies while tracking team progress.
• Ensure adherence to accessibility, security, and brand guidelines across all front-end work.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement of tools and processes.
