Job Description

Data Analyst Remote Blu Omega is seeking a Data Analyst to support a federal program focused on data analysis and insights. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights to inform mission-critical decision-making. The position requires experience supporting data analysis, visualization, and scripting within a federal environment.

Key Details Location: Remote Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination Responsibilities • Analyze, clean, transform, and interpret structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights • Develop analytics and visualizations using data science and statistical analysis techniques • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, charts, and graphs to communicate data effectively • Use Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar tools to create interactive dashboards and data-driven reports • Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to refine analysis requests and define objectives • Establish and track KPIs and metrics to support decision-making • Identify automation opportunities to streamline data analysis and reporting processes • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations communicating analytical findings clearly • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and quality when handling large and complex datasets Required Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, or data mining • 2+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing data using software such as Python, SQL, R, or SAS • Experience developing visualizations with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools • Skilled in communicating analytical insights to technical and non-technical audiences • Knowledge of automation and process improvement for data workflows • Ability to work accurately with large datasets and maintain attention to detail • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, information technology, computer science, or related field Nice to Have • Experience integrating big data platforms or enterprise data sources into analytics solutions • Familiarity with Power Apps or Microsoft Power Platform • Experience with ETL and data movement technologies such as StreamSets, Databricks, or Jupyter Notebooks • Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or DevOps practices • Experience supporting federal government, health, or mission-driven environments • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 Final compensation is based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
