Collections Agent

Our client is seeking a Collections Agent to join their team. As a Collections Agent, you will be part of the collections function, supporting business-to-business collection efforts. If you’re someone who can communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and follow through consistently, this role is built for you.

Job Title: Collections Agent

Location: Indianapolis , IN

Pay Range: $28 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm - This is a remote position 

What's the Job?

• Make collection calls and manage assigned accounts with professionalism and urgency.
• Set firm expectations for payment amounts, payment dates, and collection deadlines.
• Follow up consistently to track progress and ensure timely responses from customers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of call outcomes, payment commitments, and next steps.
• Work to resolve outstanding balances while supporting a positive customer experience.

What's Needed?

• 3–5 years of high-level and/or business-to-business collection experience.
• Strong ability to communicate expectations clearly and confidently during collection calls.
• Proven follow-up skills with a track record of staying on top of deadlines.
• Comfort working independently and managing multiple account priorities.
• Reliable attention to detail for accurate updates and account notes.
